• Description:
• UN-Habitat intends to construct and rehabilitate a community water supply scheme in Karachi to ensure reliable access to safe and potable water for targeted beneficiaries. The project involves civil and pipeline works required to establish a fully functional and sustainable system. The scope specifically covers the rehabilitation of a damaged section of approximately 6,000 ft within the existing water supply network in the designated project areas, in accordance with approved designs, drawings, technical specifications and applicable standards. This section will serve as a connecting line between two existing pipelines, supported by the existing pumping system, and will integrate with secondary and tertiary connections serving the community.Objective:The objective of this contract is to engage a qualified contractor to construct, install, test, commission, and hand over a main water supply transmission line from Ayub Goth Main Road to Chota Gabol Chowk in Karachi, in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, and UN-Habitat standards.Scope of Works:The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for the successful completion of the project.
