• Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy to Conduct a Rapid Infrastructure Assessment of Selected Health Care Facilities in Pakistan (Sindh Province) Private Health Sector Engagement towards Achieving Universal Health Coverage The objective of the assignment is to support Pakistans Government of Sindh (GoS) in conducting a rapid condition survey of health facilities (approximately 95 primary and secondary-level healthcare facilities) to determine which renovations and infrastructure improvements are required for health service delivery, as defined in the health services as set out by the Sindh Essential Health Services Package (EHSP) and Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS). The firm will carry out work in collaboration with the World Bank Pakistan team for the Health, Nutrition, and Population Global Practice, and will include the following activities: Visits to each of the Facilities and a rapid assessment of the site condition (including the boundaries and accommodation) with photos of the exteriors and interiors of the buildings. Condition surveys of the existing buildings to establish whether it will be cost-effective to renovate them or whether it will be necessary to replace them. This may include the need for renovations/upgrading of existing facilities and building new infrastructure; a review of water and electricity supplies, soil and waste-water installations, and plumbing of the facilities, among other identified needs.
