Expression of Interest are invited for DARE: PK Private School Census The DARE program aims to improve reporting of SDG 4. Through this consultancy the program aims support the government of Pakistan to fill one of the biggest data vacuums in Pakistan, the private school data. Currently all provinces of Pakistan undertake an annual exercise called the Annual School Census (ASC) which collects comprehensive data on public schools, enrolment, teachers availability, and budget utilization. However, there is a large number of private schools (registered as well as unregistered) imparting education at different tiers to the community, all over the country. As the private schooling sector continues to expand in Pakistan, there is a need to ensure that up-to-date information is available on private schools in each province to determine out of school childrens number, tracking school going children transitioning from one school to another, facilitate planning, and to promote public private partnerships in education. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
