Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Green Hydrogen (GHCP) The potential engagement entails a comprehensive green hydrogen market study to assess and review the existing and potential demand of hydrogen as well as green hydrogen in Pakistan. Identify the various drivers of demand and future growth for hydrogen and green hydrogen and its existing and future uses. The study will also include identification of potential newer applications of green hydrogen and the necessary conditions for unlocking such opportunities and adoption of green hydrogen. This study is aimed to serve as a decision-making tool for the Company to find avenues for green hydrogen production within the existing production processes vs venturing into newer avenues of green hydrogen production. The study will include a review and assessment of the existing hydrogen production of the company, its future expansion plans and the potential to adopt green hydrogen in the existing production and/ or new facilities. The study will culminate into a detailed assessment (at a minimum taking into account the market and policy level conditions as well as economics of the various options) of the merits of a new green hydrogen facility vs the conversion of the existing hydrogen production of the company (to green hydrogen) with clear recommendations including an assessment on timelines.
