The Internal Auditing shall be an independent, objective, assurance and consulting activity for the improvement, strengthening and value addition to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of Sindh Education & Literacy Department (SELD) operations. 2. It will assist PIU to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management procedures, controls, and governance processes. 3. The overall aims of the Internal Audit shall be to review the operational and financial performance of the Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project (SSEIP). 4. The Internal Audit should enable Executing Agency and its partners to form conclusions on the adequacy of the systems and controls in place, and frame recommendations for improvement, as appropriate. 5. The Internal Audit Report shall be presented to the Executive Agency for approval and sharing with project stakeholders.
