Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for POL - Green Hydrogen (GHCP). IFC is looking to hire a consultant firm to conduct a diagnostic and scoping study on the potential of Green Hydrogen opportunities across sectors in Pakistan including new areas of expansion for a Hydrogen producer (Company) in Pakistan as well as potential for converting existing hydrogen production of the company to green hydrogen. The said Company is well-known and already engaged in the manufacture and sale of medical and industrial gases in Pakistan. The potential engagement entails a comprehensive green hydrogen market study to assess and review the existing and potential demand of hydrogen as well as green hydrogen in Pakistan. Identify the various drivers of demand and future growth for hydrogen and green hydrogen and its existing and future uses. The study will also include identification of potential newer applications of green hydrogen and the necessary conditions for unlocking such opportunities and adoption of green hydrogen. This study is aimed to serve as a decision-making tool for the Company to find avenues for green hydrogen production within the existing production processes vs venturing into newer avenues of green hydrogen production.
