- Expression of Interest are invited for Supporting Student Literacy and Math Learning: Phone-Based Assessments for Emergency Situations. Publication Date: 04-Jan-2023 Expression of Interest Deadline: 11-Jan-2023 In light of the impact of the floods on human capital development, the Bank through the DARE project will support the development, refinement, testing, and scaling up of tools to support the implementation of remote formative assessments using basic mobile phone technologies in order to understand learning levels and losses as a result of flood-related school closures. This initiative will support the development, refinement, and scale-up of two or more types of remote formative assessment solutions through basic phone technologies, to support learning outside of physical classrooms: 1. Text/SMS and Whatsapp-based quizzes and 2. Live phone calls. The required firm must provide experience on distance formative assessment, strong presence in the education sector, education specialists, and previous evidence of quality work. Assessments should show adequate psychometric properties and designed with the highest standards of pedagogical and statistical properties.
