Description:
Tenders are invited for Technical Assessment of Infrastructure and Service Delivery Systems and Sustainability Options Technological Options, Costing and Sustainable Mechanisms for O&M (KPRIISP) the World Bank is seeking the services of a consulting company that can assist in a study to (i) conduct an assessment of the current infrastructure designs for key rural services; (ii) provide options, based on global best practices, to improve the current range of infrastructure designs, with a view to integrate low cost options and improve sustainability; and (iii) assess options for operations and maintenance for key service provision, with a view to leverage community participation and support. A second deliverable for the assignment would be to present the current levels of service provision and infrastructure investments in the selected districts. The location of the project is not yet known but is likely to focus on the Newly Merged Areas in the province, as well as potentially other lagging districts A total of 15 districts are under consideration, which include 8 districts in the settled areas of KP and 7 districts in the NMA.
